When the partnership between the World Organization of the Scout Movement and Alwaleed Philanthropies began, the goal was never to host a brief workshop and take a group photo. The goal was to build a sustainable human infrastructure for youth leadership across the Arab region.
Today, after three successful international editions of the International Leadership Training (ILT) program, this initiative has evolved into a real leadership engine, directly developing the skills of hundreds of young Arab men and women. The ILT programme is a flagship programme designed to empower young Scouts with essential leadership skills.
These youth didn't just stop at personal growth; they immediately stepped into action. Today, you will find them leading strategic projects, managing institutional governance, and driving policy within their National Scout Organizations (NSOs). They transformed theory into institutional power.
Because true skills should go to the people, the World Organization of the Scout Movement are now expanding. They are decentralizing this elite training by launching National Editions of the program across several Arab countries. This ensures they reach youth directly in their local communities, equipping them with international-standard management tools to change their local realities.
Alwaleed Philanthropies didn’t just fund a calendar event; they laid the foundation for the next generation of Arab civic executives.
